Shalom Shalom fellow reader~ (˶แต แต แต˶) today I'm here to write an entry based on my recent blogs from last week. I was having too much difficulty managing the storage space on Google Photos which is where I usually edit my photos on for these entries เซฎ ྀི◞ ⸝⸝ ◟ ྀིแ I hate it when everyday where none of my photos where saved on the cloud and how they have to push me to pay for more strorage which to me I find it silly and unreasonable. I do get it is a business and for them to have people to continue using their service, but why not make the 100GB or more storage acessibile to everyone, hm? I'm hoping someone who is the staff of Google will find this blog and read this feedback and upgrade their storage of their cloud service by increasing it to accomondate to modern technology for the whole Google Photos app, smh.. ||lI.‸.) but anyway on the lighter note, last week where this blog was taken place was cold being around 3°, and because where I live gets to experience all 4 seasons of nature & how it's already fall, it does make sense + also make the day slower and much cozy (แด͈หฌแด͈)

On that day, I subconciously gone for a softer gyaru look without even thinking of it, ww. I decided to give myself a break of doing gyaru eye makeup with lashes so I gone back to how I use to go to when it comes to gyaru look by simply just wearing mascara, hahaha! (& how I do not want to wear false lashes too much and all the time otherwise it would cause further mechanical damage to my real lashes (。╯︵╰。) but regardless, it's also OK for me to go for simplier looks when it comes to gyaru, because in my honest opinion when people wear it, they tend to think of it as "less gyaru-like" which somehow makes sense for them to be driven to extreme styles. But nonetheless that was my look on that day and I was happy on how it looked ^^

Last week's co*de I was wearing a knitted dress that I've own on my wardrobe for years now. It's so funny because most of my clothes that I had since pretty much 65% of them were secondhanded. I hardly ever shop for new clothes from fast fashion websites at all even up to this day, and thats how it was based on my upbringing, ww. Every once in the blue moon I'll go to retail stores and buy clothes. In fact, I wore this dress pretty much a lot back in the day from the past- except I never wore it outside of my house until on that day as Im typibg on here, ww (*´▽`*) nonetheless, knitted sweaters and dresses are my current gyaru boom as of now since we are heading off to the colder months, even as this month is ending you guys would probably see me wear it often (^_^)

Off-topic, but this one is one of my favourite eurobeat songs ever & how nostalgic it is to me ↺ ๆใใฃใใใฉใใฉใฎใซใผใใฃใณ、ๆฅฝใใใฃใใช〜 ^^
Fast forward hour later on that day after I came back from church service, I went to the store (shopping) with my dad to get new pants for my younger brother. The store I went to was Winners, very similiar to ROSS in the United States. When we were both at the children's clothing aisle, I went to the toy aisle (one of my favourite aisles, don't ask why, ww) to go see the baby dolls up on display ( ´∀`) it does bring me back to my inner childhood since I love baby dolls, and even til this day I still love them and never really outgrown from them! I also do love real human babies too and would definetly love to have children of mine one day, hahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahaha!~ (˶แต แต แต˶) ‹๐น (also FYI and fun fact- yes, I did hold onto actual babies before many times in my life! ^^) it was expensive and I couldn't tell if it was for sale or not, however it does make me happy to see them up on display แ₍⑅^..^₎♡ also on the checkout, I did see nice ceramic mugs up on display + seeing the Pooh one ส •แดฅ•ส it looks super cute and I wanted to get one like this, which somehow almost had me thinking of my own childhood & now since I love him so much (& one of my online mutural Ray, and pretty much everyone else out there who loves him!)

Now setting off all the light-hearted stuff all aside, I wanted to make a reflection on a topic which struck onto me & how it's been a while I've done stuff like this on my blog for some time, so I was like, why not..? The month of October is almost closing it's chapter along with the year of 2026 (soon what I mean since we have only 2 more months left,) so I feel like speaking out of my mind based on how I feel of this video above + how it is a sensitive topic, so I will try my best to talk about it carefully on this entry. So based on this video since I've seen the whole thing from start to finish 2 days ago as I'm typing this currently, there is a drastic change of how children dress and act over the past few years I should say. Based from my own childhood as a late Gen Z woman, my whole years of my childhood I grew up mostly playing outside and wearing older chlidren's clothes that were hnd-me-downs or were bought fresh straight from the store. Social media wasn't a thing on my time since I grew up with cable TV and dolls and toys, so dressing as an adult woman or looking 10x older than my age wasn't something I was exposed to or never really cared for since I only cared about being carefree and having fun. My mother was the one who mostly dress for me & done my hair whenever I go such as places like school or church, and there are rules that were told to me and my other sisters by both of my parents that I'm not allowed to do since it's restricted only for the adults (with some of the rules I figured it out the reason why while others I still do not understand til' this day.) Since now I'm seeing the new generation of these little girls especially now having smartphones super early than I had mine, they have easier acess to social media and are copying off from what they see the influencers doing on the inetnet. I'm not saying this just to compare myself to these kids out of hatred upon them (which its weird and simply just wrong,) but it rather interesting to see how things do changed overtime. I know I already am aware that children are naturally are sponges and they'll copy off whatever they see the older children and the adults doing, however in their case in these influencers they're seeing online. I saw one reel on my Instagram feed from this one lady who is talking about how the child' beauty budget is way more than their school budget, and honestly I had to agree on what she's saying because the parents doing all this crazy work are being unreasonable of their child's priorities. And if I'm being honest, children shouldn't be worrying about following the latest trends or worry about their looks (which I'll get to that part in a moment later on..) since how unhealthy it is to their own development. People can call me whatever like a grandmother or an auntie, but it just seems unhealthy for these little girls to rush into their growth stage for all of these stuff. And yes I know how much I am old-fashioned and have tradnitional values and standards, and I think personally it's not right to adultify these children which yes sadly it'll result to too many dangerous things along the road. I used to remember as a child where I had my own awkward stage of wearing mismatched socks or clothing and overall just being as messy, however for these girls based on the new generation it's not like that sadly because of quick trends the algortihm like to shove up onto their inpressionable mines, including a factor which can come from peer puressure too. And it's interesting because based on my own observations- these little girls do not want to experience the awkward stage of their childhod, rather they want everything to be perfecting neat and tidy because that's what the adults are doing, and if a little girl does experience all of that then she gets left out with the other girls which I find very unfair and just sad. I honestly had to blame society and social media for all of this because of how they have trends and beauty standards for these girls to have sleek hair, wear belly tops, or whatever it is that is trending right now. Regardless of now I'm not a trendhopper, it's not hard for me to make out these distictions of how childhood life was though the analog life vs. how it is based on the digital life as we are living right now. Yes I know that children do get peer puressured early at the young age, and it's like that too when I was in my tween stage too. I also feel like too that retail stores are pushing off this narrative of little girls having to wear clothing that is twice as smaller as their actual size, and the most unsettling part to is too is how stores think it is cool to sell little babies and toddlers clothing that are meant for adult woman. This is where the problem beings sadly because that is where it targets to the wrong crowd of people, and it's sad cuz when other people including me call out these things, we are accused of being creeps to these girls when really that isn't the case. And I see this a lot because of how retail and fashion fashion brands like to copy off what is trending online, and because of how they see these "child influencers" and parents online dressing their toddlers as mimi adults, they think it's ok to promote these kinds of clothing to the market (which to me I find very sick and disgusting because that's how it actually attracts pedos.. bleh! ๐) another thing I do want to point out of what this woman mentioned in this video is how these children are told that they look "fast" because of how their bodies develop in puberty, and I could argue that this is sadly true especially when it comes to little black girls since their bodies develop faster than any other race on this Earth. And what makes me even more upset is that they are being blamed for how they look and how society think they can take away their innocnence off from them and how people will call them the most horrific things that are degrading to their dignity. Again, all of this comes to the factor of the media on it's own and also the environment and people they're surrounded by too, and I honestly find it sad and unfair where society can have the right to adultify them to where they have 0 protection which can result to predatory people to take advanage of them. I do really feel sorry and a lot of sympathy for these girls and the women who had to go though that even through they have no control of how their own bodies where developing. That's not me saying all of these out of judgement as a black woman myself, rather it's me saying these things out of sorrow and empathy, even though thankfully I was surrounded by people in my life who genuinely care about me and would do anything to protect me. I don't know, I just don't like now how society and even parents think they can enable these things onto these kids, and to even further notice- most kids do not care about being well put together since they always want to be messy and have fun. Yes there are some girls who are super girly (& I was one of them as a kid,) but there is a at least difference of a girl enjoyed being girly and still being a kid, and having a kid dressing too mature for her age and doing trends that are meant for the older demographic. Altough I could agrue that I'm not a mother and I do have an ambition of wanting to be one someday, but I think it just common sense for the parents to have control and guidance of these children of what things they should and shouldn't have access of (depending on the parenting style of course,) & I give all the highest respect for the parents who are allowing their own kids to just be carefree and to act like kids. There might be someone who is a parent who might possibly be reading my unfiltered and raw opinions and thoughts, but I just think that if only if we take away social media and all the tablets or phones or whatever off from these kids and have then live through an analog lifestyle then things would return back to the normal childhood as it's supposed to be if we removed or wiped-off all of the social media apps. To come to think of it, I personally believe that children shouldn't be on the internet anyway by not having their own profiles. I don't care if they are run by their parents or the child themselves, but I personally believe they've shouldn't be on there even through we do not have full control on everything that is happening online.
Anyway, sorry for keeping you guys too long on this blog for that reflection, www. I hope you guys will come back once again to read my other entries, farewell~
xoxo Miyu
