Shalom! ๐๐พ♀️Today was snowing once again which was so pretty ฮฃ(°ใญ°) I'm not a winter person at all and the only thing I'll say I like about the season is when the snow comes down from the ground ๐ thank God it wasn't too cold instead it was only -1° (yes, I know it's still cold, but not as harsh as it was last month ago.) I also done another gal look in which I took from a Ranzuki magazine scan. I believe the one where I took the inspo from the Ranzuki scan could be from the mid 00's (2005 or 2006,) my inference is that it could be from one of those years. But nonetheless, that was my today's look since that was my goal I was going for (✿◠แด◠)

| I like how I applied on the metallic-shimmer-y blue eyeshadow mixed with 2 colours & how I done my wing-liner ( ห๐ทห) .แ.แ |
One thing I've been noticing & discovering is how when I make my own droop, I reguarly use a mixture of grey & black eyeshadow and applying it on to the bottom crease of my eyes, however from the older gyaru makeup tutorials from the past scans I've been seeing the models use a pencil or a kajal eyeliner to do the same exact thing I'm doing. Pretty much the main reason is that most of them have monolid eyes, wherereas for me I have a combination of both round-almond eyes, however I find that super interesting how I've made that observation ( ╹ -╹)? I did recently watched this video of 3 different looks of kajal liner and I wonder how gyarus back then used this to incoperate them in my looks (╭เฒฐ_•́) if anyone had any idea how they've been able to achieve it please feel free to let me know how they've done it! I would love to learn and know how they've done it back in the Heisei-era ̂แด̂

Today I styled my own outfit with a Old Navy dress which does have a sillouette of the mid-1960's shiftdress, however the one I've worn has a longer hemline compared to the original/tradtional shiftdresses from the mid-60's. I worn a black knitted sweater I had for a while in which I've never worn right until now. It did have a open-round neckline which I was concerned about, but later as I've worn it I didn't mind it at all (˶แต แต แต˶) it was cold outside where I was anyways so I decided to wear an outfit which is comfy, simple, & cohesive altogether เซฎ₍˶แต แต แต˶ ₎แ I worn black leggings which is worn underneath the dress & black Guess shoes that were second-handed. I didn't want to wear my snow boots to ended up wearing those pair of boots instead. The boots were twice my size since I'm a size 9, but since I've worn socks inside they did fit me pretty well (ห•͈ ◡ •͈ห)

| The Guess boots I've worn today ☺it does remind me of what gyarus would wear in the mid-1990's |
Last week I've drew a portrait of one of my favourite JP gyarus online (˶แต แต แต˶) ‹๐น I posted it publicly on my art account and she was shocked & said to me that she'd liked it หแตห I was so happy during that day that God given me the talents I have for the good & to make someone smile & make their day (´。• ◡ •。`) ♡ if you guys are interested of my art in general, please feel free to follow me & like and share my posts! My Instagram handle is @/miyunpi.ars & I mostly do Catholic-based art & sometimes general artwork as well ̂แด̂
Anyways, now I got all the fun stuff out of the way, I want to use this time to discuss about Romans 12:2 & Galatians 1:10- the most powerful & meaningful verses from the Bible which reflects on every Christian life. Something stook out to me from those 2 scriptures & that is how one verse mainly talks about discernmen and the other one talks about faithfulness. So when I took a look at those 2 scriptures, I reflect on how it has the effect in real life & on the digital world. So how does these 2 verses reflect in the modern world? In the verse of Romans 12:2 which is written by Paul, he is explaining how we shouldn't allow culture/society shape and mold our thinking, allowing our values to be controlled by the world, & that it proves what is that good, acceptable, and perfect will of God. Social media too made everything assessible to everyone in a good sense, however it does have a bitter side to this as well. When society calls things that are sinful normal, we cannot be so quick to adopt to those behaviours in which can damage ourselves physically, mentally, and lastly- spiritually. What Paul means by saying that we shouldn't allow culture/society to shape & mold our thinking, that literally means right there that we can't always copy off from the worldly people of what their doing is sinful all because it's trending, cool, or even it'll make us get more liked or popular. Social media isn't a stranger to this as well since it got people copying off from every trend or attitudes in which most of the time is what God condemns. Examples would be how society and the media in general where it normalizes sex before marriage in other words sexual immorality, feminisim, gossip & slander to one another, same-sex relationships & gender-changing being normalized, pornography being praised, abortion being seen as 'women's empowerment,' fame, power, etc. All of those things what social media & society glorifies & because of how these messages & sinful practices is what is being portrayed on social media & in real life, this is what Paul is exactly is warning us about. He saying not to let repitition shape us & re-write our consciences of who we are as children of Christ, cuz what happens overtime is that the enemy uses this to believe in the lies of the world because how overtime what happens is when we consume & keep on hearing those things time and time again, overtime we start to believe in those lies which can result into confusion morally & through our spiritual identidy. An example would be how you came inside a party or gathering & someone puressures you to doing something that is sinful like drinking too much alcohol which leads to the sin of gluttony. Instead of quickly adopting into that idea of comsuming too much, you began discerning of how it damages you spiritually & how this would affect your relationship with God, which lead to you not doing it & walking away from the pure puressure. Cuz what ends up happening when you start to engage in that harmful sinful behaviour, it is going to damage and affect your lationship & God & overtime you began to blindly following the world. What Paul is saying here in this part of this verse is to discern & pause instead of being quick to jump on worldly trends, behaviours, & values. I also want to mention how this applies to moral values as well since society & social media praises wealth, sexual freedom, popularity, etc. Now being holy & popular are NOT the same thing, someone can be popular in their school or workplace or on social media & their spirit isn't holy. When society say things like 'revenge is empowering,' that is what goes againist of what Christ teaches because He taught all of us to forgive one another. The world doesn't teaches any of the morals Chirst has setted for us because they completly reject Him entirely alongside His gospel. The whole point Paul is saying is to allow God to define us what is good and evil & not the world, cuz He is the one who has the final judgement on the rules based on what is stated bibically & what the Church teaches. The last things it's mentioned on Romans 12:2 is to be transformed by the renewing of your mind & that you may prove what is good, acceptable, & & the perfect will of God. After your soul is shedding away your old-self & being replenished with a new version of you, you start to replace the worldy-thinking from society & your ego with God's Word though prayer & scripture which I find the most beautiful thing of what happens after you accept Christ into your life. Cuz when you accept Jesus and no longer belong to the world, your no longer are easily influence by the lies & deciet thbe worlds try to push on us. Overtime you get to experience true joy and happiness from God that is everlasting instead of instant pleasures of what the world provides. Now that is one thing I find beautiful of this verse cuz it explains everything in depth morally & spritually in our lives & I feel like that's what every Christian should look up & read through. Cuz the whole message of this verse is to have our minds and souls be transformed & renewed to God's truth and stop allowing the world to mold & shape our minds with temporarly pleasures that don't bring full joy & peace of what God's provides.
Another verse which is Galatians 1:10 talks about how we shouldn't have our goals of pleasing others but instead we should be pleasing God alone. Now for me personally, I struggled with people-pleasing myself & I'm still slowly recovering from it because I use to constantly worry a lot of people would not like me or they'll ignore what I have to say. I would always do things to keep myself being liked by everyone by staying silent & overall abandoning God altogether out of my life slowly overtime. Ever since I've returned back to God, I've stopped caring about what others have to say or think about me & didn't allow it to affect my reltionship with Christ. From before back then I was scared of people getting upset at me by stop talking to me or unfollowing me on social media, & it got to the point I began to be more unhappier in my life because I always please human beings who are sinners like me but not God. Now that I allowed Christ entered into my life, I didn't care anymore if people left me by stop hanging out with me or blocking or unfollowing me on social media, after I let Christ renew my soul & in my life I stopped caring what others have to say & think about me based on what I believe in & what lifestyle & path I took. Cuz at the end, the things I now do I use to please God and not from the world, because what's from Him matters because I now put Him as my top priority every single day before anything else. And if someone tried to double down me all because I don't do things in which people from the world does, I'm always am going to discern always & not shrink myself to fit in with the crowd, because overall this is what Paul is talking aboutt in this verse & I'm always am going to please God though obedience, love, & faith. The whole point this verse is saying is that you can't live for the world of pleasing others & live fully in Christ at the same time, it's about how our desires & decisions we make result for either God's approval or from the world. Now I don't want to say the gospel to come off as negative as some people would think, rather this is said for others (including me myself) out of love & compassion & out of truth who needed to be told this, because eventually this can eventually change someone's life & I'm confindent the Holy Spirit is there to allow other people to come back to Him ♡♡
With all that being said, thank you so much for reading my current blog post & I'll see you guys on the next one ใพ(^ ∇ ^). farewell & have a blessed day everyone!!
